Biography

Professor Teris Cheung is an Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and a member of the Mental Health Research Centre. She holds a PhD from The University of Hong Kong and has multidisciplinary training in nursing, criminology, and mental health ethics. Her research focuses on mental health epidemiology, suicide prevention, and evidence based neuromodulation interventions, including transcranial pulse stimulation (TPS). Professor Cheung has published extensively in leading international journals and has led multiple randomized controlled trials evaluating non invasive brain stimulation for neuropsychiatric and neurodevelopmental disorders.
