Biography

Sayyora Sodikova was born on October 6, 1995, in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. She began her medical education at the Samarkand State Medical Institute (2013–2018) and later graduated from the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute in 2020. Specializing in neurology, she completed her Master’s degree at the Department of Neurology of the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute (2020–2023). Since 2023, she has been practicing as a neurologist at the Central Consultative and Diagnostic Polyclinic of the Mirzo Ulugbek district. Currently, as a PhD student at Tashkent State Medical University, her research focuses on the intersection of neurodegenerative diseases and gut microbiota, aiming to improve clinical outcomes for patients with Parkinson’s disease.

Research interests: Neurodegenerative disorders (specifically Parkinson’s Disease), The Gut-Brain Axis and Microbiome modulation, Therapeutic strategies for improving patient quality of life.
