Biography

Dr Negareh Yazdani, PhD of optometry and vision sciences, is a leading researcher in optometry and vision sciences, specializing in myopia pathogenesis, advanced ocular imaging, and evidence synthesis through meta-analysis. Their work integrates structural biomarkers from optical coherence tomography with quantitative meta-analytic methods to understand refractive error development and visual pathway changes. Dr. Yazdani has published extensively on retinal and choroidal changes in myopia, and on the use of imaging and electrophysiology to track neurodegeneration. They are committed to bridging clinical optometry with high-level biostatistics to inform evidence-based practice.
