Biography

Dr. Priyanka Srivastava is an accomplished Associate Professor in the Department of Biosciences at IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus), India with 12 years of research and teaching experience. Holding a PhD in Biochemistry from CSIR-Indian Institute of Toxicology Research (Lucknow), and prestigious post-doctoral fellowships from SERB NPDF at AIIMS New Delhi and Jamia Hamdard Silver Jubilee,  she has led groundbreaking projects on Acetyl CoA synthetase in colorectal cancer stem cells and SORL1 trafficking in Alzheimer's disease models using Caenorhabditis elegans. Her research spans nanotoxicity, neurodevelopment, and neurodegenerative diseases, including size dependent effects of TiO2/ZnO nanoparticles and metal mixture neurotoxicity in developing brains.  As corresponding or first author, she has published in high-impact journals like Neuroscience, Molecular Neurobiology, and Nanotoxicology, with recent works on Alzheimer's therapies, stem cells, Nondrug deliveries etc. Recognized with awards such as the 2024 Best Teacher Award, EMBO travel grants, CSIR fellowships (GATE AIR 93), and multiple international prizes, she chairs the Internal Complaints Committee and serves as a NAAC expert. Her conference presentations at EUROTOX, C. elegans meetings, and others highlight her global impact in toxicology and neuroscience.
