Anat Achiron, MD, PhD, is a s Full Professor of Neurology, and Chair for Research in Autoimmune Diseases at Tel Aviv University. She is the founding Director of the Multiple Sclerosis Center and Neuroimmunology Laboratory at Sheba Medical Center, where she has led pioneering research in neuroimmunology, optic neuritis, and imaging biomarkers of demyelinating disease.
Prof. Achiron has published more than 250 peer-reviewed papers and has led multiple international clinical studies. She is co-founder of HawkVi, a digital health company developing AI-driven analysis of fundus imaging for early detection of optic-nerve pathology, with ongoing collaborations across the U.S., Europe, and Asia. Her work focuses on advancing personalized neurological care and developing technologies that enable earlier diagnosis and improved outcomes for patients worldwide.
